About the event

The show is based on a Amitai’s personal history, and recounts reactions of a son to a mother dealing with severe mental distress and Schizophrenia. Kedar provides a rare look to the inner world of a woman and mother who is dealing with a serious mental illness by adapting her diaries for the stage. The show shed light on the creator's childhood and on the relationship between mother and son in two parallel worlds in which his mother lives: the world of reality and the world of delusion. We step in his mother’s fantasies. Are they really illusions, or a mask she wears? The show brings the diaries to live, and invites the audience in the the labirynth of the mind.
